Well, folks I got through this week. I really wasn’t sure I would at first. I had the most intensely busy week ever, but it all got done and it turned out exactly as I had hoped. DimplePrints made my candy corn printables, which turned out amazing (available HERE). You can visit back HERE to see my invitations and how I used PSA Essentials on them. We got a lot of compliments on everything and it was really fun to see everyone standing around the dessert table trying to decide which dessert to try next. As a HUGE sweet tooth myself, my favorite part of parties are the desserts. I am all about the dessert tables, so I tried to keep the food more simple and really go overboard on the desserts. I served BBQ Pulled Chicken sandwiches, cheesy potatoes, caesar pasta salad, chips, apples with carmel, cheese and crackers, veggies and dip, buffalo chicken dip, and various drinks. All my dips were served in carved out pumpkins.
For desserts we served candy corn iced cupcakes in vanilla and chocolate, mini-mason jar apple pies, candy corn butterfingers, candy corn cheesecake mousse, Sweeties by Kim Chocolate Covered Oreos (amazing!), candy corn sugar cookies, and for a favor I made Candy Corn Bark to go home. Want to see the pics? Check out my party!! The link at the bottom gives links to all the amazing vendors I used, as well as where I got my recipes for some of the desserts.
