Are you looking for some quick Valentine’s decor without a ton of work or time commitment? Here’s a fun wreath idea that was made without using anything but pretty pink pins to hold everything down.
I used a wreath form this time that didn’t have the rounded edges to mix it up a bit.
What You Need:
White Fabric–I just bought remnant fabric from JoAnn’s
Decorative Push Pins
3 sheets of pink felt
Additional Valentine’s décor of your choice–fabric doilies, ribbon, hearts, and polka dot remnant fabric
How to make it….
I started by cutting long narrow strips of white fabric. I don’t recall the exact dimensions, but it was probably about 2 feet long by 4 inches wide. I then folded it length wise and began wrapping my wreath, covering up the cut edges. I secured it all down with push pins.
From there I added pretty little felt rose flowers, a Valentine’s heart from JoAnn’s, and some little hearts from Michael’s. I didn’t make a tutorial on the rose flower because another blog has really great instructions on it—I can’t remember the original blog I saw it on, but there are lots of suggestions on Pinterest and on the link above too.
This wreath was super easy to make and shhhhh don’t tell I didn’t even use any hot glue on it!!
So what do you think? Super simple and easy to make and so fun and cute…may be one of my favorites yet! My hubby keeps asking me where we are going to store all these wreathes…LOL. Here’s some photos on my front door where you can see the colors better:
