Winter Sangria Party Drink Recipe

Last weekend I mentioned I styled that Red and Green Christmas Party and we had a bar full of different drinks…alcoholic and non. I wanted to find a great specialty drink for guests and I found this GREAT Winter Sangria recipe online! Our guests REALLY enjoyed this sangria and it wasn’t overly strong. It’s very refreshing and festive!

The original recipe is as follows:

White Sangria with Pomegranate

  • 1 bottle white wine
  • 3 cans 7up or Sprite
  • Grand Marnier (I didn’t measure, a few ounces I think)
  • Seeds of 1 pomegranate
  • slices of two limes
  • ice
  1. Pour all ingredients into a punch bowl. Wait for the seeds to float.
  2. Serve.

Except we added some grenadine to the drink to make it a little sweeter and add some color…and it was a HUGE hit. People LOVED it. This was easily the most popular drink of the evening and something I’ll come back to regularly for parties!

Definitely try it out if you get the chance!
