Movie Star Party

Hi Dimple Prints readers! It’s Megan from Coffee Cups and Crayons here again with another fun girls birthday party. My daughter turned seven a couple weeks ago and wanted to celebrate with a movie star themed party!

Movie Star Birthday Party for Girls

The girls were told to dress in their movie star best for the big birthday premiere and got to walk the red carpet on their way into the party. Once inside they each got a swag bag full of sparkly items and had a chance to glitterize themselves and take lots of pictures of themselves with all of our movie star photo props.

Then once everyone was ready it was time for the popcorn bar! The popcorn bar was our glammed up version of a movie theater concession stand and it was a HUGE hit! All of the little movie stars loved being able to choose their favorite toppings for their popcorn. The cute food labels were all from Dimple Prints Movie Party package.

Homemade Movie Theater

Then once everyone had their popcorn the movie stars sat down in our “theater” to watch a movie. We used red plastic tablecloths from the Dollar Store to create the theater curtains. Once the movie was over it was time for cake. The birthday girl decorated her own cake using lots of her favorite theater candy–M&Ms!
