Hello everyone! Thanksgiving is just around the bend and I would love to share this tasty pumpkin bourbon float with ya’ll. One of my favorite Thanksgiving traditions is watching the parade in the morning, with all of the gorgeous floats and balloons. How about we make our own Thanksgiving float this year? Inspired by the many pumpkin cocktail recipes out there, I decided to concoct one of of my own with a favorite from our bar cart, Kentucky bourbon. I used a couple local ingredients including Graeter’s Ice Cream and Woodford Reserve Bourbon.
- woodford bourbon, 1 oz
- ginger ale, 6 oz
- graeters pumpkin ice cream
- pampered chef sweet cinnamon sprinkle
- paper straws
I simply used the Pampered Chef Cinnamon Sprinkles to rim the cocktail glass. Put a small scoop of Graeter’s pumpkin ice cream in the bottom of the glass. Followed by 1 oz of Woodford bourbon and 6 oz of ginger ale. And top with a fun paper straw. You could even top with whipped cream if you want to make it even more sweet. Such a great dessert cocktail to bring to your family Thanksgiving, just bring along the ingredients and mini-pumpkin pies and you will be everyone’s favorite.
