The holidays are here and if you have a child or friend with a birthday around Christmas, a fun party idea might be to consider a Grinch Birthday Party!! Carli, owner of DimplePrints, shows how she created a Grinchy themed party for her daughter a few years ago that was fun and festive for all!!
The nice thing about a Grinch party during the holidays is 1. you already have Christmas decor up 2. just about anything goes! Who-ville is cooky, wacky, colorful, fun…so use your imagination and have fun with the decorations! Carli used an engineer’s print of a fun fireplace background complete with a paper “who-feast” sitting on the table!
Stockings were hung over the fireplace, a whimsical “who-tree” was adorned next to the table. Drinks were made to look like grinchy drinks with green fur and a cute Santa hat.
Garland was hung over the table and across the bottom with lots of sweet treats to choose from…
Wrapped gift boxes were used to add height and whimsy to the table…topped with pretty cake plates full of cupcakes.
Fondant Grinchy toppers topped the cupcakes…
Cindy Lou Hoo (Carli’s youngest daughter) even made an appearance!!
Grinchy pudding with mini wreathes were served as a mini dessert idea…a perfect who feast!
Ribbon candy was added to the table for some added fun!
The birthday girl had a “who-riffic” birthday party and enjoyed some fun treats with her family and friends!
