Customer Party: Woodland Theme

I have a friend that is a professional party planner in Columbus, OH that helps people get their events done  seamlessly and without all the stress that you normally have with planning parties. Katie of Lucky Penny Events threw this cute Woodland Themed Baby Shower the other week and I got to help go with her and set it up. Katie used DimplePrints’ Woodland Themed Printable package and the whole shower just turned out adorable!

The dessert table was put together using a fun orange chevron table runner and a rag tie ribbon strand to decorate the front of the table. Katie used a variety of fat quarter fabrics, tore them and tied them around a string of ribbon to create a shabby effect. It’s another alternative to using pennants as a party decor idea :)

The food served was a good variety of light and sweet. The hostess made fondue and provided fruit, marshmallows, graham crackers, and more for their guests to dip. There were also croissants with chicken salad, trail mix, fruit skewers, and more.

The fruit skewers were stuck into foam in a handpainted crate with little bugs and “woodland creatures” sticking out.

DimplePrints created matching baby shower game ideas matching baby animals. The print outs kept with theme and were so cute!

Katie used babies breath and painted mason jars as centerpieces for the coffee tables in the clubhouse. We also painted a few little $1 bird houses from JoAnn’s for added decor.

The water bottles were wrapped with the party package printables…guests really seemed to appreciate the small touches like this.

All the food items were labeled with place cards matching the party package.

The whole shower was so sweet and proves that with the right small touches any event can be made special! Thanks so much Katie for letting me help you with your events! As always, they turned out darling.

Woodland Camping Party

This party is a VERY special treat because it’s styled by our very own, Carli, owner of DimplePrints! I always love seeing Carli’s parties and seeing her real life creations come to life…and this party is yet another example of how creative she is! With the help of amazing fondant pieces from the talented Fondant Flinger, she really captured the camping spirit with this adorable birthday party! Check it out! Camping Invitation & Party Packages available HERE.

How gorgeous is this cake and the fondant pieces on top? They match the invitation perfectly and are so fun and whimsical!

The mini tent on the table is such a CUTE touch! I think that’s one of my favorite ideas I’ve seen!

Have you caught a glimpse of those cupcake toppers yet? Are you as in love with them as I am? Look at the faux-wood bunting topper! Adorable!

Naturally, s’mores were the treats used as favors for the camping party! I love the basket and bag toppers!

With camping and being in the woods comes DIRT and WORMS! YUM! Great dessert idea!

Acorn and twig cookies with cute little squirrels topping off the cupcakes…if camping was like this all the time I think I’d probably like it a LOT more!

Cute sign that comes with the party package…

I like this take on the “one year” photograph display! A photograph tree to celebrate baby’s first year!

One more picture of the cake to make you hungry before we end this post…adorable party, right? As always, Carli outdid herself again and we especially thank Fondant Flinger for their help with such gorgeous fondant characters and toppers!

Woodland Themed Birthday Party Ideas

Hey DimplePrints friends! It’s Katie here, from Lucky Penny Events, sharing some fun ideas for a Woodland Themed Birthday party!

When I start thinking about party decor I put together an inspiration board like the one below to help me think of different ideas to incorporate and different directions I could take a party.  This month I thought I’d take this adorable invitation available from Dimple Prints and give you a bit of inspiration to throw a woodland themed birthday party!

Owls and woodland creatures are becoming a very popular party theme and it’s such an easy, cute idea for a kids party.  A back yard or park makes the perfect space and you can use the nature around you to complete your theme.  Think pine cones, trees, acorns, flowers, and animals, throw in a little food, favor, and craft to go with it and you have one great party!

Now the fun begins:Using the inspiration to create your own unique party!
