I have a friend that is a professional party planner in Columbus, OH that helps people get their events done seamlessly and without all the stress that you normally have with planning parties. Katie of Lucky Penny Events threw this cute Woodland Themed Baby Shower the other week and I got to help go with her and set it up. Katie used DimplePrints’ Woodland Themed Printable package and the whole shower just turned out adorable!
The dessert table was put together using a fun orange chevron table runner and a rag tie ribbon strand to decorate the front of the table. Katie used a variety of fat quarter fabrics, tore them and tied them around a string of ribbon to create a shabby effect. It’s another alternative to using pennants as a party decor idea
The food served was a good variety of light and sweet. The hostess made fondue and provided fruit, marshmallows, graham crackers, and more for their guests to dip. There were also croissants with chicken salad, trail mix, fruit skewers, and more.
The fruit skewers were stuck into foam in a handpainted crate with little bugs and “woodland creatures” sticking out.
DimplePrints created matching baby shower game ideas matching baby animals. The print outs kept with theme and were so cute!
Katie used babies breath and painted mason jars as centerpieces for the coffee tables in the clubhouse. We also painted a few little $1 bird houses from JoAnn’s for added decor.
The water bottles were wrapped with the party package printables…guests really seemed to appreciate the small touches like this.
All the food items were labeled with place cards matching the party package.
Guests all went home with bags full of animal crackers as a favor and thanks for coming.
The whole shower was so sweet and proves that with the right small touches any event can be made special! Thanks so much Katie for letting me help you with your events! As always, they turned out darling.
