Little Mr. Man Baby Shower

My little Mr. Man Baby Shower wrapped up this weekend for my friend. It turned out so great and we got so many compliments on the whole package. Little Man Invitations & Party Printables available in my shop. Here are some of the highlights:

This was the dessert table/cookie bar where we left guests to take bags of cookies and other tasty treats home.

I had CookieCovers on Etsy make these fondant cake toppers to match the invitation. We’ll be starting our giveaway with them tomorrow along with one of our party packages to match her fondant topper package!!

For the dessert table/cookie bar we made chocolate mustaches, red velvet cake pops, bow tie sugar cookies, chocolate chip walnut cookies, oatmeal raisin cookies, and snickerdoodles. For a cake, I made a lemon cake with cream cheese frosting and topped it with my fondant toppers from Cookie Covers. Everyone was sent home with tons of cookies and treats!!

For food we kept it simple. We ordered little square cups and piped hummus into them, inserted 4 carrots and a cucumber wedget and called them hummus shooters. They were a perfect sized appetizer. We also served bow tie pasta, croissants with ham/turkey and cheese, fruit salad, pita chips, and tomato basil soup shooters…picture to come. I wrapped all the silverware with DimplePrints patterned paper and adorned toothpicks with the circle tags that came with the package.

For drinks we served lemonade and iced tea, as well as bottled water with cute matching bottle wrappers. I used mason jars with striped blue and green paper straws, which were wrapped with ribbon of green and blue color.

For the soup cups, I purchased these little cups at Ikea for $1.50/6 pack. Then I used my Silhouette to cut out vinyl mustaches to adhere to the cups. We served tomato basil soup in them and it was another appetizer before the food.

I made some framed signs for the party, but my favorite was “Little Guy in a Tie” where I used her ultrasound picture and glued a tie on it for the frame. We also had a “Words of Advice” bin and some photo booth props out on the table. The tie banner hung across the fireplace in their living room, which was a perfect spot for it.

Here’s some more pics of the food and dessert table.
