Cupcake Sprinkle {Baby Shower Idea}

Hey everyone its Autumn from Autumn Lynn’s Chocolate Sins. This month I am sharing with you a Sprinkle that I did for a client who is having her second baby!! She requested lots of tulle and as much pink as possible!! My first task was find a printable party set to match the clients request…having no luck..I asked Carli from Dimpleprints to create one for me!!

I made a huge pink tulle skirt for the table using 375 yards of pink tulle. It was a blast to make and my son thought that I was making a tutu for a giant..LOL!! 36 inch balloons were used as the backdrop as the location did not allow us to stick anything to the walls. I highly recommend ordering these off of Ebay for 9.99 for 6!! It takes one large helium tank to fill four balloons!!

The cupcake stand and cupcakes was the main feature of the table!! I made another pink tutu for the bottom of the cupcake stand…a simple cost effective way to spruce up the stand!! Greaseproof cupcake liners were used for the cupcakes and can be purchase at Smidge and Pinch. Looking for a yummy never fail cupcake frosting try Cookies and Cups Marshmallow Buttercream!! I have been using it for about 6 months now and it has turned out perfect every time!!

Cupcake sugar cookies , strawberry whoopees, chocolate dipped marshmallows, chocolate covered Oreos, and French macarons were the other desserts featured on the sweets table!! The pink polka dot straws are also available at Smidge and Pinch.  Get the best sugar cookies around from The Sweet Shop Cookie Company.

 The centerpieces for the tables were simple round diaper cakes with little cupcakes pinned to the top!!

My favorite addition to the party was the huge cupcake diaper cake that I made to go on top on the cupcake stand!! Instructions to make your very own cupcake diaper cake are available for purchase here!! I added more pink tulle to the top of the cupcake to give it a frosting like affect…adding the “R” on top gave the cupcake the perfect finishing touch!!

 The party favors were also cupcakes!! I made cupcake cake pops to match the theme of the party!! Favor tags and all other printable used in my party were created DimplePrints.

Baby Rowyn is due to be born any day now!! Thanks for reading my post. Be sure to stop by my shop for all your chocolate needs!!

My name is Carli, owner, designer & creative mind behind DimplePrints. I am married to my high school sweetheart & we have 3 wonderful kids. In the beginning I simply started by wanting to share a piece of our lives with loved ones by sending cards & invitations for special occasions. With the support of family, friends & great customers, it has grown into Dimpleprints.
