Mermaid Birthday Party

The Mermaid theme sweets table was designed for my niece Kayla who was turning 11!! Kayla has loved mermaids ever since I can remember…so planning this table was a real blast. Of course Dimpleprints had just the party package that I need to created my table!! I created the party sweets with all things beach themed in mind!! Chocolate covered Oreos with sand dollars toppers dusted in luster dust, purple candied apples adorned with shimmery sea shells, mermaid scale and monogrammed cake pops, and sea horses and sea shells lollipops were sure to be a hit with my niece!!

I also made baby pink chocolate covered pretzels pretzels and added a few shimmery shells!!! Rock candy is always a staple on every one of my party tables….and is usually the first item to disappear!! Two of my favorite creations for this table are the mermaid tail popcorn cones and the real bubblegum necklaces! The necklaces were a huge hit with the kids!!

Of course the table needed some mermaids!! I ordered yummy mermaid sugar cookies from The Sweet Shop Cookie Company! My sister Michelle of Sugar Rush Stuff created the adorable mermaid cake!! The mason jar drinking glasses were decorated with white doilies, pink tulle, white sugared rims with pink and white drinking straws with mermaid silhouettes.

My niece loved her sweets table and I was honored to plan it for her!! Thanks for dropping by and checking out my mermaid party!! Need sweets for your next party?? Check me out on Artfire!!
